Mirac’s Survival After Swallowing Magnetic Ball Through Surgery

A seven-year-old boy from Rize, Turkey, named Miraç, recently swallowed three magnetic marbles while playing at school. After becoming ill, his family rushed him to the hospital where the marbles were successfully removed from his intestine during surgery. Pediatric surgeon Halil İbrahim Çakmak warned parents about the dangers of small-sized toys and objects, saying that they should be kept away from children. Miraç’s father, Orhan Kalay, shared his experience and advised parents not to buy little toys for their children as they can pose a great risk. Fortunately, Miraç is on the road to recovery, and he will be discharged from the hospital once his intestinal treatment is completed. The incident serves as a reminder to parents everywhere to carefully monitor their children’s playtime and toys to avoid harmful emergencies.
