„301 Individuals Receive Monthly Compensation for Covid-19 Vaccine Side Effects“
Compensations for the side effects of Covid-19 vaccines have begun to be paid by care institutions in Germany. The country has already approved 301 compensation applications, which will provide between 164-854 euros per month for a lifetime, if the applications are accepted. In addition, the state may cover the treatment costs of those who have suffered severe side effects of the vaccine.
The Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI), the authorized institution that approves vaccines and drugs in Germany, has listed several known damages of the vaccine. These include heart diseases, blood clots, facial paralysis, Guillain-Barre syndrome (a muscle disease), hearing impairment, and ear disorders such as tinnitus. Until June 2022, 323,684 cases of suspected adverse events and vaccination complications were reported, with 120 cases connected to the loss of life and vaccines.
185 people have filed a legal complaint against vaccine manufacturers, claiming to be victims of severe side effects caused by Covid-19 vaccines. The first of these cases is expected to be heard at the Frankfurt District Court on April 28. However, the vaccine manufacturer, Biontech, has denied any relation between their vaccine and the health problems reported by these individuals. They state that they take their responsibility as a vaccine manufacturer very seriously.
As vaccine rollouts continue worldwide, it is crucial to take into account the potential side effects of vaccination. In cases where individuals suffer from severe side effects, it is important to hold manufacturers accountable and offer compensations to those who have been affected.
