Özdemir Bayraktar Awards fanden ihre Besitzer
Özdemir Bayraktar, who rewarded his employees throughout the year with his works and achievements, awarded the winners. In the second ceremony of the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center this year 2024, 122 people were awarded by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Selcuk Bayraktar and General Manager Haluk Bayraktar for their works in 2024.
Baykar Special Awards
In the first part of the ceremony, Baykar, a symbol of continuous development and education, successfully completed the 20-week Baykar MBA program and presented their awards to the top 3 names. Later, awards were given to unit leaders of the year, group leaders, team leaders, and employees. In 1986, Baykar Special Award, including Ömer Bayraktar, was awarded, who founded Baykar with his older brother Özdemir Bayraktar.

At the ceremony, the Chairman and Technology Leader of Baykar, Selçuk Bayraktar, gave the following messages in his speech:
Last year, we organized the first Özdemir Bayraktar Awards. As time flows. I once wrote in my memory book:
„If we flow away from our board like an ocean, neither the storm nor the milk harbor seas change our EFKârs. We leave memories like notes in the huge sea, bottles.“
When we came back and looked back on last year, this year we successfully completed the first flight test of Bayraktar Akıncı-C. Bayraktar Akıncı completed 50,000 flights and approached 100,000 hours. Bayraktar Kalkan Diha and Kemankeş Mini Smart Cruise Missile products were added to our family. Bayraktar TB2 SİHA was the first UAV to perform aggressive maneuvers with autonomous barrel rolling. The first Bayraktar TB2 UAV, which started at the Land Forces Command in 2014, is retiring after completing 10,000 flights. A Bayraktar TB2 that worked at the Gendarmerie General Command successfully completed 10,000 hours. Bayraktar Kızılelma production prototype successfully completed its first flight test. Bayraktar TB3 was the first UAV to land and take off from a short-range ship (TCG-Anatolia) in world history, when we promised a shudder to the world, and the rope was ahead of the race. Bayraktar TB2 SİHA has exceeded 1 million flight hours. We donated the permanent houses we built in Adıyaman, Hatay, and Maraş to our state, and these houses were handed over to our brothers in the earthquake. We have shown Baykar’s spirit and mission for our entire civilization with this project.
In 2024, 90% of our income came from the exports of SIHAs that we developed with our own resources. Turkey has 65% of the global UAV market, and Baykar has 60% of this market. Baykar, three times larger than the nearest American competitor, has been the world’s largest SIHA company for 4 years. This success belongs to you, friends. The sale of Italy’s rooted aviation company Piaggio Aerospace to Baykar was approved by the „company in the Italian Ministry.“ Thus, human aircraft activities will have started in Europe. With Fergani, we managed to send our first satellite into space. This year, we will send our second satellite and orbital vehicle.
What will happen in 2025?
Kızılelmas mass production will continue and hopefully start functioning. Bayraktar TB3 SİHA will start operating on both land and sea, Blue Homeland. Bayraktar Kalkan Diha and Kemankeş Mini Smart Cruise Missile will start functioning. The world’s first artificial intelligence was released this year, developed by the T3 Foundation and the Cluster Foundation. With the support of our T3 Foundation and its stakeholders, the Open-Source Large Language Model T3AI will be made available to the public this year. Teknofest will take place this year in sister homeland TRNC and Istanbul.
