New Aquapark Opens Near Hungarian Border, Offers Incredible Fun and Adventure!
A new aquapark has opened just a few kilometres away from the Hungarian-Romanian border in the city of Timisoara (Temesvár), offering visitors a range of programs and leisure activities. The Amazonia Aquapark was built at a cost of €20m, with over €5m of the funding coming from the European Union. It covers 4.3 hectares and comprises an aquapark, thermal baths, and a spa. Visitors can purchase separate tickets for each part of the complex, while there is also a health centre on-site, offering massage and therapeutic services. The aquapark has four pools, numerous slides, and plenty of exotic plants to give guests the feeling of being in the jungle. Tickets to the park will cost slightly more than nearby facilities in Gyula, but the difference in price may be offset by reduced travel and parking costs for Romanian visitors.
