Alanur, the distant daughter of one of the wealthy families of Bağdat Street, was brought up without parental love or real communication. Rabia Soytürk gives life to the character of Aslı Yıldız.

Aslı, a creative and artistic girl, is about to go to study law in France under the pressure of her mother Alanur, who is trying to control her whole life. However, as a result of unexpected events, she loses her heart to Mehmet Karlı, the son of Ziya Karlı, who left his mother years ago. This rebellious young girl, who does not take anyone seriously and makes fun of everyone and life, has to make the most serious decision of her life in a few days: she will either follow the path drawn by her mother or embark on a brand new journey with Mehmet. This choice that Aslı will make can completely change the fate of the two families. Aslı’s love and power of transformation may not be enough to heal the wounds opened 30 years ago.

Emre Kıvılcım gives life to the character of Mehmet Karlı.

He is the eldest child of the Karlı family and the apple of his mother Seher’s eye. As she found her mother’s unconditional love behind her, she did not need another love, and from her early youth she did not hesitate to break the hearts of girls and constantly change lovers. All these short-term relationships break his faith in love and Mehmet finds himself on the verge of making a marriage of reason. He is on the eve of engagement with Hatice, who they grew up with under the same roof. Aslı, whom she knows in this very tightness, turns Mehmet’s life upside down. In Aslı, Mehmet sees two contrasting feelings – that no one’s love is guaranteed, but that he can actually be trusted the most. On the other hand, for Aslı, Mehmet becomes an indispensable man with his possessive, protective attitude, inner wisdom and understanding of life that he has not seen in others.

Bennu Yıldırımlar gives life to the character of Seher Karlı.

He fell in love with Ziya, the son of a man from a lower socio-economic group, who worked with his father in his youth, and a platonic marriage started between them. However, Ziya could not get Alanur out of his mind. Struggling with the shadow of another woman all her life, Seher’s fatigue turned into anger over time. The fights his son Mehmet gives for Aslı are almost like the shouting of Ziya’s feelings for Seher. That’s why he personalizes that his son doesn’t want Hatice. On top of that, when she learns that Aslı is Alanur’s daughter, the traumas that Seher thought she was covering are triggered deeply and turn into a perfect storm.
