
Zigana Tunnel opening date announced by Minister Karaismailoğlu

The Zigana Tunnel in Turkey will be opened on May 3, according to Adil Karaismailoğlu, Turkey’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure. Speaking at an iftar program in Trabzon, Karaismailoğlu gave a speech outlining the government’s achievements, saying that Turkey has become a country that exports $25 billion a month, compared to only $25 billion a year before 2002. He also talked about the importance of the upcoming elections on May 14, emphasizing the need to vote for those who love their country and are against terrorism. Furthermore, he mentioned that Turkey has become a country that produces, develops and exports technology. The Zigana Tunnel is one of the longest tunnels in the world, with a length of 14.5 kilometers, and its opening is expected to contribute to Turkey’s economy, trade, employment and production.
