According to the Statistics Agency, the major importer of Uzbekistan’s textile products over the first two months of the year was Russia with $19.8 million. The Kyrgyz Republic followed next with $12 million. The top-5 also included Italy ($4.2 million), Belarus ($1.7 million) and Azerbaijan ($1.3 million).
During the reporting period, the following provinces had the highest share in the export of textile products:
– Tashkent city – $16.6 million
– Tashkent region – $8.1 million
– Andijan region – $6.3 million
– Bukhara region – $3.8 million
