Three of those who shot near the CHP Provincial Presidency building were released on condition of judicial control.

The incident took place on Thursday, April 6, at around 04:00. After the studies carried out on the report that there was a fire in the air near the CHP Provincial Presidency, it was determined that the fire was fired from a vehicle traveling from the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex, Nef Stadium to the TEM Highway Edirne direction. The owner of the car, Arif P.(26), Berkan Ö.(22), Anıl Ö.(20) and Ferhat EE(23) were taken into custody after the police work examining the footage. The 4 suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were transferred to the Istanbul Palace of Justice in Çağlayan yesterday. One of the suspects questioned by the Prosecutor’s Office, it was decided to release Anıl Ö, who was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The other three suspects were referred to the court for judicial control. The three suspects, who were interrogated by the on-duty judge, were released on the condition of a travel ban and signing to the nearest police station.

A request for arrest was made for ED, who was fixed with the camera recording that he carried out the act of shooting into the air and could not be caught despite all the searches. It was determined from the camera footage that it was clear from the camera footage that the shooting action of one of the suspects, E.D., who broadcast live on his social media account, was not directed at the CHP Provincial Building on the night of the incident.
