Tashiev bei der zentralasiatischen Sicherheitsdienstleiter-Sitzung
Kamchybek Tashiev, the chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, participated in the first meeting of the heads of security services of Central Asian countries in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press center of the agency.
The event brought together the heads of security and special services of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting was dedicated to the development of regional cooperation in the fight against international terrorism, extremism, and transnational organized crime. The participants discussed the current state and prospects for ensuring regional security and exchanged analytical information on current threats. Special attention was given to joint measures to combat challenges emanating from unstable areas.
After the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to hold such consultations regularly and emphasized the importance of strengthening trust and coordination between the special services of the region.
The Kyrgyz team reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of good neighborliness, open dialogue, and joint efforts to ensure peace and stability in Central Asia.
