President Tatar’s message for 7 April World Health Day: Healthy generations form the basic building block of a qualified society

President Ersin Tatar, in the message he published on the occasion of April 7 World Health Day, stated that health is as important for a peaceful and happy society as it is important for each individual person, and that healthy generations constitute the basic building block of a qualified society.

Tatar reminded that „World Health Organization celebrates 7 April every year as „World Health Day“ and the week following today as „World Health Week“.

In his message, Tatar emphasized that the celebration of 7 April World Health Day and World Health Week is important in terms of preventing health problems, early diagnosis, improving conditions, carrying out the necessary studies for quality and accessible health and reaching large masses, and thanked the health workers for their dedication. he did.

President Tatar also noted the following in his World Health Day message:

“The concept of health cannot be changed or measured with any other concept in our lives. In our age, we need to know well the diseases that pose a threat to our health and have knowledge about it. Health is as important for a peaceful and happy society as it is for each individual person. The basic building block of a qualified society is healthy generations.

A healthy life is a right that every person acquires at birth and gains due to being human. Every individual should be able to benefit equally from health systems. In this context, healthcare professionals, who serve human health with their knowledge, skills and effort in the field of health, provide an important service to the society they live in.

Since the first case was seen in the TRNC in the Covid-19 epidemic that affected the whole world, and in the earthquakes that took place in Turkey on February 6, all healthcare professionals who have been working with great devotion have continued and continue to work, disregarding their lives. I congratulate the 7 April World Health Day of all healthcare professionals, to whom we entrust our health and lives with these feelings and thoughts, and thank them for their devoted work in the conduct of health services.”
