MEB 45 thousand teacher appointment interview places announced? Contracted teacher recruitment oral exam places!

The statement that candidates who want to take a job as a teacher in the Ministry of National Education have been eagerly waiting for came from President Erdoğan today. In his statement, Erdogan announced that 45 thousand teachers will be recruited. President Erdoğan made the following statements in his post: „We will appoint 45 thousand new teachers in order to improve the quality of our education system and strengthen our education staff. We will primarily assign our teachers to disaster areas to heal the wounds of the earthquake. May it be beneficial to all our teachers, their families, students and our education community.“

WHEN IS THE MEB APPOINTMENT OF 45 THOUSAND TEACHERS?

Pre-application and oral exam center preferences of teacher candidates will be taken between 27 March-1 April.

-The exam centers where the candidates will take the oral exam will be announced on April 4th.

Oral exams will be held between 7-16 April, and the results will be announced on 18 April.

-The appointment preferences of teacher candidates will be taken between 2-6 May, and the results of the assignment will be announced on 8 May.

-Teachers will start their duties in their schools as of September 1

According to the 45 thousand teacher appointment calendar, interview locations will be announced today. Although the oral exam venues have not been announced yet, it is expected to be opened to the access of candidates during the day.

2023 TEACHER ASSIGNMENT QUOTA AND BRANCH DISTRIBUTION

Minister Özer also announced the quota distribution on the basis of branches regarding the assignment of 45 thousand teachers. Pointing out that appointments will be made from 103 fields that form the basis for appointment for teaching, Özer shared the following information about the five fields that will be assigned the most in this context: „For the recruitment of 45 thousand teachers, 7 thousand 878 quotas were allocated for classroom teaching, 3 thousand 604 quotas for guidance, 3 thousand 269 for pre-school teaching, 2 thousand 656 for primary education mathematics, 2 thousand 604 for religious culture and ethics.“ Özer stated that 50 base points are taken as the basis for the application to the areas to be assigned.
