Adults Workshop opens curtains with play “Kakistokrasi” at Nicosia Municipal Theatre
Adults Workshop, an adult group dedicated to Nicosia Municipal Theatre and the love of theatre, has staged its latest play “Kakistokrasi”. The play, written and directed by Cem Aykut, was performed at the Arabahmet Stage and centered around the problems experienced during the pandemic days, while also paying tribute to healthcare professionals.
The writer and director of the play, Cem Aykut, highlighted the significance of the Adults Workshop and stressed the relevance of the play’s name. Aykut stated that despite the fact that the country is not governed by a republic or a democracy, the play’s full form of government was kakistocracy.

Harmancı stated that the performance reminded the audience of the pandemic struggles and lessons learned during the period, while thanking the actors and backstage personnel for their excellent work.
