Israel Bolsters Air Defense System

Israel Strengthens Air Defense System Amid Tensions and Attacks
The Israeli army has announced the deployment of Iron Dome batteries throughout the country to strengthen its air defense system amid rising tensions and increased attacks. This move came after the Israeli police’s use of disproportionate force against Muslims in Masjid al-Aqsa, which escalated tensions in occupied East Jerusalem and led to events.
Israel claimed that 37 rockets were launched from Lebanon to the northern regions of the country, and as a response, Israeli air strikes were carried out on Gaza, blaming Hamas for the attacks. In response, rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel.
Moreover, the Israeli army also announced that three rockets were launched from the Syrian side of the Golan Heights on April 8, further escalating tensions in the region. The Golan Heights has been under Israeli occupation since 1967.
The situation in the region remains volatile, and the Israeli army’s decision to strengthen its air defense system shows its preparedness to counter and respond to any future attacks. The ongoing conflicts and tensions in the area call for a peaceful and diplomatic solution to avoid any further escalation of violence.
