Increased Production and Generator Capacity in Aydin through AKSA Teams‘ Efforts
Cyprus is struggling with power outages due to a two-week strike by the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority Employees Union (El-Sen). However, Kıb-Tek General Manager Dalman Aydın announced that the situation has improved thanks to the efforts of the AKSA team. The team was successful in commissioning defective generators and increasing the number of operating generators from 2 to 6. Furthermore, the electricity production has increased from 30 to 90 megawatts. The team entered the Teknecik Power Plant to fix the malfunction and generator issues, as other service providers were unavailable. Aydın stated that they will continue to work hard to prevent any further power outages. The people of Cyprus are relieved to hear that relief is finally in sight.
