
Four people arrested in Beykoz drug raid

Police Arrest Four Suspects and Seize 654 kg of Methamphetamine in Beykoz Operation
On April 15, the Istanbul Police Department’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch conducted an operation in Beykoz to identify suspects related to the crime of „Manufacturing and Trafficking in Drugs or Stimulant Substances.“ As a result, four suspects were caught and detained. The teams seized a total of 654 kg of crystal and liquid methamphetamine, including 149 kg of tare crystal methamphetamine, 505 kg of tare liquid methamphetamine, and 62 kg of 300 grams of chemical substance.
The Interior Minister, Süleyman Soylu, praised the efforts of the Istanbul Police and heroic police officers in a statement made on his social media account. The investigation is still ongoing regarding this case.
Trafficking in drugs and stimulant substances remains a significant problem worldwide, leading to the arrest and detention of many individuals. The Turkish government actively works to prevent criminal organizations from operating in the country and bringing harm to its citizens.
