Immer mehr Kirgisen kehren aus dem Ausland in ihre Heimat zurück
„Every day, more and more Kyrgyz people are returning to their homeland from abroad. In the past two years, their number has reached 241,000,“ said Parliament speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev at the opening of the Selya textile factory in the village of Sumsar in the Jalalabad region.
According to the Parliament’s press office, the speaker spoke at the ceremony about the reforms in the country and cited the opening of numerous industrial plants as examples, made possible thanks to the efforts of the state and creative citizens.
He emphasized that this creates favorable conditions for our citizens to work in their homeland and reduces the flow of migration. He noted that thanks to the initiative of businesswoman Asel Atabekova, the dilapidated building was transformed into a production workshop in a short amount of time.
„This company not only creates jobs for the villagers but also contributes to the local budget. Such successes in the regions are of great importance for the development of the entire republic,“ remarked Nurlanbek Shakiev.
The speaker appealed to the head of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Artyom Novikov, who had financially supported the construction of the factory, urging him to pay attention not only to projects in major cities like Bishkek and Osh but also in villages.
The building of the clothing factory used to belong to a plant that has been out of operation since 1991. In 2023, the premises were auctioned off and renovated by entrepreneur Asel Atabekova. She invested 51,796 million som in the factory.
Additionally, Nurlanbek Shakiev visited a school in the village of Sumsar. The building, which accommodates 360 students, was put into operation in 1961. In 1988, the construction of an additional school building for 250 students was planned, but the construction was halted in 1990.
Currently, 662 students attend the educational institution in two shifts. Funds were provided from the Chatkal district development fund, and comprehensive renovation work on the old school has begun. However, residents turned to the speaker requesting clarification on the construction of a new educational facility.
Nurlanbek Shakiev tasked the Deputy Director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing, and Communal Services, Talantbek Imanakun uulu, to develop a project for a new school and allocate the necessary funds in the budget for 2025.
